DESCRIPTION:Victorians loved decorating and crafting with nature and that includes using shells. This workshop will include a visit to the Penobscot Marine Museum’s Merithew House to get inspired by shell art pieces on exhibit. Then participants will create their own shell art. There will be a huge variety of shells\, plus sand\, seeds\, and beads. Participants can choose whether they want to make a shell wreath\, picture frame\, sailors’ valentine\, or a rectangular piece. All materials are provided. \nTeens attending both morning and afternoon workshops can bring a brown bag lunch and eat it on campus or leave campus to enjoy lunch from a nearby business. \nFlexible Pricing\nTo make our programming available more widely\, we are happy to offer three flexible pricing options.
