SUMMARY:East Blue Hill Library Book & Bake Sale
DESCRIPTION:The East Blue Hill Library will host its annual Book & Bake Sale on Saturday\, June 27\, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the library\, located at 9 Curtis Cove Road in East Blue Hill. Come browse a selection of used books\, a variety of delicious baked goods\, and more. All proceeds to benefit the library. \nConstructed in 1919-20 from sketch plans drawn by New York architect John W. Merrow\, the East Blue Hill Library is an unusual adaptation of the bungalow style to the specialized library building type. A major renovation in 2023-2024 doubled the existing space\, adding a new reading room\, bathroom\, and basement\, with the goal of increasing accessibility and community engagement.
