DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, September 26th\, for the Carver Memorial Library 2nd Annual Book It 5K\, a fun and family-friendly event that is part of Searsport’s Fling into Fall celebration. Proceeds from the 5k will go directly to support the Carver Memorial Library. \nThe course will start at the library and take you through historic downtown Searsport. This relatively flat and fast course is perfect for seasoned runners as well as those looking for a beautiful morning walk. Strollers are more than welcome. \nMedals will be awarded to overall winners and age group winners with timing professionally done by 5K Sports Race Management. \nThis isn’t only a road race\, it’s also a party! Lawn games\, snacks\, drinks\, and crafts will be available for spectators and runners at the library as well.
