SUMMARY:Oshima Brothers w/ Mary Moore @ Deer Isle Hostel
DESCRIPTION:Groove and move with Oshima Brothers\, Maine’s own siblings indie alt pop band; and make welcome Mary Moore\, all the way from Nashville TN! \nOshima Brothers\, a Japanese-Italian sibling duo from the coast of Maine\, make open hearted music with smooth blood harmonies and groovy guitar lines. On stage\, Sean and Jamie share warm tones of folk\, alt pop\, and indie R&B on road weathered guitars\, keyboards and a loop station. Offstage\, the brothers enjoy sipping espresso\, tinkering with guitar pedals\, hosting dinner parties\, and writing songs together. Embracing a DIY approach\, they produce every inch of their songs and videos from scratch\, including a 45-minute album film. Their latest album In Orbit speaks of love\, climate resilience\, and family history repeating. Maine Public Radio says their “harmonies can’t be beat. They are uplifting and\, let’s face it\, we need uplifting these days.” \nBYOB and kids; leave dogs at home. This concert is outdoors\, and will be cancelled and refunded if it rains. SUMMARY:Riley Green at Maine Savings Amphitheater
DESCRIPTION:The Maine Savings Amphitheater welcomes Riley Green’s “Cowboy As It Gets” tour on Saturday\, August 15th. This is shaping up to be one of the best summer tours in all of country music. You’ve got Riley Green hitting the stage with tracks like “You Look Like You Love Me.” That earned him plenty of awards\, particularly for the live renditions. He’s also bringing some company along for the ride. \nJustin Moore and Hannah McFarland\, who just so happen to share a love of whiskey\, will be taking the stage before the main event. You’ll know Justin from “You Me and Whiskey” and Hannah from “Whiskey Into Water.” That should tell you a little bit about what you can expect to see coming from the stage at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in mid-August.
