DESCRIPTION:The 90-voice Bagaduce Chorale and the GEM Orchestra\, under the direction of Bronwyn Kortge\, are back to present Sir Karl Jenkins’ “Stella Natalis\,” a multi-movement celebration of Christmastide evoking the cold of winter snow and the warmth of a lullaby\, featuring soloists from the choir as well as a virtuosic trumpet performance from Jeannie Nadeau. We are excited to be continuing performing the work of Karl Jenkins following the success of “The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace” earlier this spring. \nThe Bagaduce Chorale will also perform a medley of classic Christmas carols with the inclusion of some audience participation. We hope you come and see this wonderful collection of winter delights either at the First Congregational Church of Blue Hill on Friday\, December 18th and Saturday\, December 19th\, as well as the Bucksport Performing Arts Center on Sunday\, December 20th!
