DESCRIPTION:Where: Surry Grange\, 1229 Surry Rd\, Surry\, ME 04684 \nCommunity Dance: 6pm – 7pm\nThis is a fun and friendly dance for all ages! Bagaduce Music leads the Open Band (open to all musicians\, instruments & skill levels). Show up 15 minutes early to get situated if you’d like to play with us! Dances are easy\, they’re a great “training ground” for contra dancing.\nCost: No admission charge. Donations are very welcome. \nContra Dance: 7pm – 10pm\nBrief beginners lesson at 7pm. All ages welcome and no experience is necessary! All dances are taught & no need to bring a partner. Fabulous live music each month\, clear instruction.\nCost: $15-$25 suggested. Under 18s pay 1/2 their age. Funds help support the Arbutus Grange and Bagaduce Music. \nContra Camping: Surry is a bit of a drive? So stay the night\, and maybe visit Acadia over the weekend\, too! Free camping for contra dancers at Alice’s place in Surry.
