Join us in front of Waterfall Arts for the first-ever meeting of the Waterfall Arts Urban Sketching group. We’ll gather under the ‘Here Is Magic’ Mural and then spread out to sketch whatever tickles our individual fancies. After sketching\, we’ll meet back at the mural for a throw down (sharing of our sketches) at noon. Everyone is welcome! \nThe goal of urban sketching is to tell a story using any medium in any environment. It is a direct observation drawing that works to capture a moment in time and the energy of the scene. It can be a quick sketch or a detailed image of a complex site. It is created on location using any kind of media. We hope this will become an ongoing meetup with rotating group leaders! \nFREE! All ages and abilities welcome!
