DESCRIPTION:Music and Movement Storytime is back for the summer! Starting Monday\, June 15 at 10:30 a.m. preschool kids and their caregivers are invited to join Ms. Jen each week at the Blue Hill Public Library for Music and Movement Storytime. We will sing songs\, play instruments\, dance\, and read stories. The rhythms\, rhymes\, and patterns in music and the use of musical instruments provide fun ways to practice skills that have a direct connection with early literacy. DESCRIPTION:Gordon Thomas Ward\, Grammy balloted singer-songwriter\, will perform music\, songs\, and tales with a historic take on the history of Hancock and the downeast region. Songs will bring to life the stories of a revolutionary war soldier from Maine\, tales of Schoodic Point\, and folklore and history of the Town of Hancock. The museum will be open at 6:00 pm for browsing. Light refreshments will be served. A meet and greet with Mr Ward will follow the program.
