Morning Maine Featured Artis of the Week: Còig

Bangor Celtic Crossroads is a locally-created festival whose mission is to bring high quality music and cultural programming to Bangor from the six Celtic nations: Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, Brittany and the Isle of Man as well as the diaspora, including Maine.  This is the first year of the festival and is akin to "small halls" festival.  The festival starts on Thursday, September 14 and runs through Saturday, September 16, and includes performances by local fiddle phenom Gus LaCasse, Còig and the renowned Irish music duo from Boston, Matt and Shannon HeatonSee the full schedule.
