It is with profound sadness that we inform the WERU community that volunteer music programmer Fritz Homans, host of The Blues Station, passed away on June 16, after a brief battle with cancer. Fritz was a wonderful person who will be missed terribly by everyone. There will be a celebration of Fritz’s life on Saturday, July 9, 1 pm, at the Belfast Boathouse on the waterfront in Belfast. Thank you, Fritz, for the gift of great friendships and music!
