WERU Volunteer, Mike Joyce, has passed away. Mike was one of the iconic, original volunteers in 1988 and continued to serve the community as a music programmer until the time of his death. He was well known and loved as the host of the Barefoot Blues Hour music show and co-host of the public affairs program BoatTalk. Mike was a unique personality who loved to talk, be it having a chat or talking about “stuff” or boats on his radio shows. He cared deeply about people and the radio station.
