DESCRIPTION:We are excited about our upcoming community square dance party at Simonton Corner coming up on Saturday\, October 3rd\, 2026\, and we are looking forward to seeing you there! Location of this dance is the Simonton Corner Hall\, 366 Main Street\, Rockport\, ME 04856. \nOur band for this next dance will be Emily Jeffries\, Maisie Newell & friends! Your callers will be Pat Danscen & Chris Ricciotti. Our dances are always warm\, welcoming and inclusive. All dances are taught and no experience is necessary. \nSchedule for the upcoming dance:\n4:00pm – 5:00pm Family Dance (great for families with kids and for beginners who want to get more instruction on the basics of dancing) \n5:00pm – 6:00pm: Community Pot Luck – come join us for this community meal. Bring your favorite dinner foods to share\, or bring snack or dessert foods for later \n6:00pm – 8:30pm: Square Dance Party – more experienced level – for teens and adults (and kids 10 years or older or kids who have been dancing for a while) \nVolunteer help is needed.
