DESCRIPTION:Join us for an afternoon of camaraderie and entertainment at The Alamo Theatre in Bucksport. \nWho doesn’t need a good laugh right about now?\nWe’ll be screening one of our favorite classic political comedies: a 90’s film starring Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver about a good-guy presidential imposter who takes over from a crooked commander-in-chief and inspires a nation. The film will show at The Alamo Theatre in Bucksport on Saturday\, May 30\, as part of our Fun-D-Raiser Weekend in Hancock County. \nTickets are limited and available on a first-come\, first-served basis. Some tickets may be available at the door\, but we encourage you to get your tickets early to secure your spot. \nThis event is sponsored by the Hancock County Democratic Committee of Maine. Proceeds will go to electing Maine Democrats in local\, state and congressional races. \nTickets are $25/person. Additional donations are greatly appreciated.
