DESCRIPTION:Join us on June 13th for Paces for PAWS\, a fun-filled morning supporting homeless animals right here in our community! Whether you’re running the full 5K or enjoying a casual walk with friends and family\, every step helps animals in need. The race kicks off at the Train Depot Terminus (13 Oak Hill Rd\, Belfast\, ME 04915). Check-in & same day registration starts at 7:30am\, and the race begins at 8:30am. The registration fee of $35 per person helps support local animals in need! Dogs are welcome to join the run or walk\, with proof of rabies vaccination and leash required. SUMMARY:Bird Week: Bird Walk on the Belfast Rail Trail
DESCRIPTION:Meet youth bird leaders Cedar Patrick and Finn Demers\, and BBWC’s Cloe Chunn at 7:00 am in the Rail Trail Upper High Street parking lot\, 3/4 mile past the Rt. 1 overpass. This walk is ADA accessible; children are especially welcome. \nCelebrate Bird Week with the Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition.  All walks begin at 7:00 am and end at about 9:30. (Note the later ending time for the paddle.) Dress for the weather and bring protection from sun\, bugs and rain. Bring binoculars if you have them.
