Join us on Wednesday\, September 16\, 2026\, 6:00pm\, at Camden Hills Regional High School’s Strom Auditorium for a screening of Carl Sagan: We Are Made of Star Stuff with filmmaker Nanette Burstein in attendance. \nAn intimate portrait of visionary astronomer\, author and television star Carl Sagan\, whose groundbreaking ideas transformed our understanding of the cosmos and human existence. \nThe evening will feature a Q&A with special guests\, and a chance to gather with friends and neighbors before CIFF officially begins. \nThis event is free and open to the public\, and we welcome teenagers and adults alike. Register today to save a spot for you\, your friends\, and family! Doors open at 5:30PM. \nCarl Sagan: We Are Made of Star Stuff is presented as part of Points North’s ongoing effort to build community through the power of nonfiction storytelling — not just within the international film world\, but here at home in the Midcoast. \nThis free Community Screening is presented by Cold Mountain Builders.
