SUMMARY:1920s Murder Mystery Dinner
DESCRIPTION:Watts Hall Community Arts\, 174 Main Street in Thomaston\, will welcome Mystery 207 back to Thomaston on Friday\, November 6th at 6:00 p.m. for an evening of interactive mystery\, dinner\, and comedy. \nThe professional touring murder mystery acting troupe will present its original 1920s-themed production\, Gin\, Guns\, and Guilty Secrets. Guests will work with their tablemates throughout the evening to uncover clues\, determine motives\, and figure out whodunnit as professional actors bring the story to life around them. Known for their funny and highly interactive shows\, Mystery 207 has staged hundreds of immersive events for thousands of people throughout Maine and northern New England since 2018. \nThis production is a new mystery for Watts Hall audiences\, offering returning guests a completely different case from the 1920s-themed Mystery 207 production presented at the Hall in 2023. \nThe evening will include a three-course dinner prepared by the culinary arts students at Mid-Coast School of Technology. The menu will feature a baby greens and citrus salad\, smoked pork loin with seasonal accompaniments\, and apple crostata for dessert. A beer and wine cash bar will be available. \nGuests are encouraged\, but not required\, to dress in 1920s-inspired attire. Flappers\, mobsters\, speakeasy patrons\, and other Roaring Twenties characters are welcome. \nTickets are $63 per person and must be purchased in advance no later than Friday\, October 30th. No tickets will be available at the door.

SUMMARY:Rigometrics - Rigsgiving 2026
DESCRIPTION:Rigometrics (Portland\, Maine) is making serious waves in the Northeast music scene with a dynamic\, high-energy sound that blends the soul of classic rock with the grit of funk and blues\, the hooks of indie\, and the urgency of modern alternative. Their music fuses Josef Berger’s searing guitar work\, Derek Haney’s hard-hitting\, groove-driven drums\, and Keenan Hendricks’ soaring vocals and swaggering piano\, which doubles as the bass in their live setup: creating a genre-blurring style that feels both timeless and fresh. The result is a live experience and growing catalog that consistently draws in diverse audiences and fuels an ever-expanding\, loyal fan base. \nFormed in late 2021\, the three-piece has toured all over the East Coast and South\, sold out 300-cap venues\, headlined major shows in Maine\, and played over 450 shows. Their catalog now includes 2026’s album The Rigossance Era\, 2025’s Live in Maine II and singles Can’t Catch Up\, Couldn’t Tell Ya\, Hands\, Mr. Shove\, Hope You Know\, and Ghost of Indecision; 2024’s EP Elodie\, live album Live in Maine\, and singles Endless Road\, All My Friends (Live for the Weekend)\, and No Smoke; 2023’s EP No Time to Waste and single Share the Fortune; and their 2022 debut album Rig N’ Roll. These projects are propelled by their relentless touring schedule and undeniable stage presence ~ backed by years on the road\, first in a renovated school bus and now in their dedicated touring van. \nTo bring these releases to life\, Rigometrics has collaborated with top-tier producers Jon Wyman\, Matt Perry\, and Anthony Gatti\, as well as Grammy winners Dave Gutter\, Adam Ayan\, and ‘Bassy’ Bob Brockmann. Together\, they’ve crafted music that elevates Rigometrics’ signature sound while keeping it deeply rooted in the spirit of rock ’n’ roll.
