Bruce Clark was for over 25 years WERU’s Chief Engineer, doing everything possible to keep our transmitter and other equipment on the air. Bruce retired a few years ago, and passed away recently. Bruce was a soft-spoken, sincere, and brilliant fellow who was liked by everyone who knew him. Born and raised in Belfast, he started messing around with radio technology as a kid, before becoming a communications officer in the Army. After serving in the military, Bruce embarked on a long career in broadcast engineering, both in TV and radio, spanning over five decades. Bruce went above and beyond in his service to WERU. Thank you, sir!
