Bronzewound is the bluegrass music program on WERU…and has been since the very first week the station went on the air in May 1988.

Bronzewound brings a wide variety of bluegrass and old-time music, not only to WERU’s local listening area, but also to the world through the World Wide Web. Every show brings a combination of classic bluegrass, probably some “newgrass”, a bit of old-time string band music and possibly an interview with bluegrass performers talking about their latest album release.

Whatever the mix includes each Thursday night on Bronzewound, you can be sure you’ll hear great bluegrass music.
