Head Rush- Undisputedly the “Hardest Rocking Show” on Community Radio. Every saturday night from 10pm-midnight, the 89.9FM transmitter is transformed into a Heavy Metal Launching Pad. While the Head Rush Show genre is listed as Metal on the WERU program schedule, you will hear a fair amount of Hard Rock and Grunge also. Comedy is an integral part of the Head Rush Show with a mix of original comedy bits and pop culture references often reflecting on current events. In addition to “The Minister of Metal” a.k.a Brotha Luv, Co –hosts Lonesome Willie of friendlyproduction.com and/or Alice the Madd Hatter, will make an occasional appearance. Local and unsigned artists are encouraged to send original material to be aired.
