Two hapless comrades find themselves part of a mistaken-identity love triangle, and pursued by the jealous leader of the KGB. Displacement: Immigrant Portraits by Jean Kigel. This poignant series of immigrant portraits illuminate the human condition, Kigel’s political sensibility, and her advocacy for human rights. Working Loose x Rachel Sees Snail Shoes Present Shoe Show. Marvel at the shoe and its miniature architecture. This multi-faceted group exhibition showcases contemporary shoemakers working completely by hand, footwear inspired artwork, and colorful historical folk footwear. Meeting Halls: Inspiring Collective Futures. Michelle Hauser’s photographs of Maine’s historic meeting halls act as portraits. This once-thriving network of civic forums were built and maintained collaboratively by local people for generations are now on the verge of closing or already closed. The disappearance of meeting halls and the erasure of the social good that they bring poses the question: What is the fate of our collective future?
