The Board of Trustees of the Friend Memorial Public Library will host its annual Cakes & Authors Party, now in its ninth year on Thursday July 9th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on the library grounds. It’s the library’s way of thanking its patrons and the community for its continued support. This year six authors will be on hand to discuss their work and the writing process, and to autograph books. To compliment the authors the library is offering delicious cakes and cookies, music, children’s crafts and a free raffle.
