The Blue Hill Library and Blue Hill Books will present a conversation between author Jan Cigliano Hartman and editor Deanne Urmy about Jan’s new book, Lincoln’s Speechwriter, on August 27 at 5:00 p.m. in the library’s Howard Room. “Lincoln’s Speechwriter gives readers a closer look into the man behind the political voice that was Abraham Lincoln himself.”

Jan Cigliano Hartman is an award-winning historian of eight books that portray the history of American life.

Deanne Urmy, editor-at-large, Mariner Books/HarperCollins Publishers, edits history, biography, memoir, and ideas-driven books.
