Judith Sloan is an award-winning actor, radio producer, comedienne and poet whose work combines humor pathos and a love of the absurd. She llves in Queens, NY and Stonington Maine.
Jonathan Lethem is the award-winning author of Brooklyn Crime Novel, Chronic City, and eleven other novels. His A Different Kind of Tension: New and Selected Stories was published in 2025. He lives in Los Angeles and Maine.
Najla Said, actor/playwright, is the daughter of Palestinian intellectual Edward Said. In 2013, she published a memoir Looking For Palestine: Growing Up Confused in an Arab-American Family
Warren Lehrer is an award-winning writer and artist/designer known internationally as a pioneer in the fields of visual literature and design authorship. He lives in Queens, NY and Stonington Maine.
Andy Teirstein composer and multi-instrumentalist. A student of Leonard Bernstein, Henry Brant, Bruce Saylor and David Del Tredici, Teirstein writes music for the concert hall, film, theater, and dance.

Sloan and Said will perform an excerpt from their new work exploring how their Jewish and Palestinian American backgrounds shaped their identities and friendship. Lethem and Lehrer each read from new and forthcoming books. Playing multiple instruments, Teirstein performs folk tunes and songs of freedom.
