Support for WERU comes from our listeners and from Waldo County Bounty, co-hosting with Rotary Club of Belfast a “Concert for Food Security” featuring three Maine singer / songwriters: Caroline Cotter, Tom DiMenna and Louisa Stancioff from 4 – 7 PM on Saturday, August 8th at the City Boat Landing’s Waterfront Park. All proceeds will be donated to Waldo County Bounty which provides area food pantries with fresh local produce. Volunteers will be collecting donations at three entry points.
