Creating a Local Green Burial Cemetery

Midcoast Maine Green Burial, a local volunteer organization formed to promote the creation of a green burial cemetery in Knox, Waldo, and/or Lincoln county, will host a free public presentation about green burial in the Abbott Room at Belfast Free Library, located at 106 High Street, on Monday, August 31, at 6 p.m. All are welcome. Judith Soleil, president of the organization, will offer a narrated PowerPoint presentation and answer questions.
