The East Blue Hill Library will host its annual Book & Bake Sale on Saturday, June 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the library, located at 9 Curtis Cove Road in East Blue Hill. Come browse a selection of used books, a variety of delicious baked goods, and more. All proceeds to benefit the library.

Constructed in 1919-20 from sketch plans drawn by New York architect John W. Merrow, the East Blue Hill Library is an unusual adaptation of the bungalow style to the specialized library building type. A major renovation in 2023-2024 doubled the existing space, adding a new reading room, bathroom, and basement, with the goal of increasing accessibility and community engagement. Open six afternoons a week and on Saturday mornings year-round, the library is the heart of the village.
