Join David Porter and Allison Snow, co-founders of the Blue Hill Peninsula Rockweed Forum, for a presentation and discussion on rockweed on Tuesday, July 28 at 3:00 p.m. at the Blue Hill Public Library. David and Allison will discuss the ecological importance of rockweed (Ascophyllum nodosum), commercial harvesting, and the extent to which current laws, regulations, and industry practices protect rockweed forests from being over-harvested. Participants are welcome to offer comments and questions.
