Forest Walk and Mandala Ceremony to Celebrate the Arrival of Autumn

The Healing Garden, a Belfast-based wellness education organization, is hosting a celebration of the arrival of autumn with a walk in the woods and a collaborative mandala-making ceremony. The event will be held on Saturday, September 12, from 10am to noon at 289 Northport Ave, Belfast Reservoir #1.
This event is free and all are welcome.
Diana Maria Chapin, a local healer who is one of the founding members of The Healing Garden says, “Our mission is to connect people to the intelligent power of their heart and to the natural healing capacity of the body and nature. This walk in the woods will be a wonderful opportunity for us to gather as community and align our bodies with the shifting energy of autumn. We invite one and all to come and soothe the nervous system, relax into the heart, and enjoy a light walk in the woods. Together we will gather items from the forest floor and assemble a beautiful mandala.”
Chapin encourages people to be prepared for small inclines with comfortable, sturdy shoes and to dress in layers. Bring a towel or blanket to sit on if you please. All ages welcome. For the purposes of serenity during this meditative event, please leave pets at home.
