Runners, walkers, families, and (leashed, well socialized) dogs are invited to participate in Island Connections’ 9th Annual Run, Walk, Wag 5K on Saturday October 3rd from 9:00-11:00. Starting line is at the MDI YMCA and the first (50) registrants receive a race t-shirt. Prizes will be awarded for fastest runner, walker, youth, and dog and all participants get free Pat’s pizza at the finish line. Join MDI’s original dog-friendly 5K for a fun morning racing along the Shore Path and through the picture postcard streets of Bar Harbor. All proceeds benefit Island Connections’ in meeting their mission of providing free rides to older adults and people with disabilities on MDI.
