Historic Alna presents the Jamie Saft Trio in concert at Alna’s 1789 Meetinghouse on Saturday, June 6, at 3:00 PM. Doors open at 2:30.

Pianist, keyboardist, and composer Jamie Saft, who makes his home in Alna, has performed and recorded with Iggy Pop, the Beastie Boys, John Zorn, Laurie Anderson, and many others, and has composed film scores including the Oscar-nominated Murderball. For this performance he is joined by Jesse Heasly on acoustic bass and John Mettam on drums.

The Alna Meetinghouse is a 1789 timber-frame building among the best preserved of Maine’s few surviving 18th-century meetinghouses.
