Linda Buckmaster’s Traveling Literary Banners, “Of Cod and Communities,” will be at the Mulholland Gallery in Lubec June 10 to 30. The Reception is Saturday June 13 at 5 p.m. The exhibit consists of eight 3′ x 5′ soft fabric banners adapted from Linda’s book, “Elemental: A Miscellany of Salt Cod and Islands,” which reflects fishing communities and landscapes on both sides of the North Atlantic. The banners show over 30 images from Maine, Newfoundland, Scotland, Iceland and the Caribbean and come with informational sidebars.
