Celebrate Dolores Huerta, Activist, Feminist, Ancestor

The Peace and Justice Group of Waldo County will show the film “Dolores” on Wednesday, November 18, 2026 at 6 pm in the Abbott Room, Belfast Free Library to honor and celebrate this exceptional organizer and passionate champion of farmworkers and all oppressed peoples. She co-founded the United Farm Workers Union, led the fight for racial and labor justice for decades and evolved into one of the most defiant feminists of our time, continuing her fight and her joy of living into her 90”s.

Keep the ball rolling toward peace and justice, come be inspired to continue the work Dolores never stopped doing. And we will not stop, either!! Join us, open to all–
