Let your shoes fly to the gorgeous Rockport Opera House for a Flying Shoes dance, now scheduled every second Sunday of the month. The new Rockport dance committee is thrilled to welcome local folks and dancers from across the state. Bring your friends and family!

Presented by the Rockport Opera House, the Town of Rockport, and Belfast Flying Shoes.

6:00 ~ Community Dance, simple dances for all ages & experience levels, great for families ~ Chrissy Fowler calling with Frogbank. All musicians are invited to be a Back Row Bandit and play along with the band during the community dance.
7:00 ~ Contra Dance, starting with a brief intro session ~ Liz Nelson calling with music by Frogbank (Samuel Foucher on accordion, Willy Clemetson on fiddle and foot percussion, and Pepin Mittelhauser on guitar and bouzouki)

$15 – 25 sliding scale admission*. The Rockport Opera House is at 6 Central St in Rockport. (*Admission is for the entire evening. For folks only attending community dance, it’s $1 kids / $2 adults)
