Working Loose, Blue Hill’s multidisciplinary art gallery, event space, and concept shop, is celebrating its second anniversary and the launch of its third summer season with a vibrant lineup of events that showcase the organization’s growing role as a cultural gathering place for artists, musicians, and creative entrepreneurs.
The summer season begins with the Spring Bizarre Bazaar on Sunday, June 14, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Working Loose, 49 Main Street in Blue Hill. The lively anniversary market will transform downtown into a celebration of creativity, community, and curated chaos, featuring more than twenty vendors offering vintage clothing, handmade goods, fine art, artisanal food, botanical products, ceramics, antiques, textiles, tarot readings, custom chain stitching, and more. Working Loose will join forces with neighboring business Juniper, which is also celebrating its second anniversary, extending the festivities throughout the block with additional vendors, surprise guests, and opportunities to explore Blue Hill’s thriving creative community.
Featured vendors include Alchemical Rounds, A Painter’s Cheese, The Blue Chill, Bold Magazine Shop, Cozy Tarot, Downeast Mushrooms, Elda Bags, Fairydog, Giantdaughter, Juniper, Luce Spirits, Luddite Antiques, Matinicus Salt Farm, Milk + Honey, Overmorrow Homestead, Pastoral Picks, Room Tone Textiles, Salve-ation, SHare Studios, Threshold Farm Seeds & Studio, Treehouse, Wet Day Fire, Zaftig Yenta Ceramics, and more. Milk + Honey Kitchen will also be serving sandwiches and treats throughout the day.
