Buck Memorial Library and The Bucksport Historical Society Present Jon & Li Waterman of Sultana who weave history, original song and slideshow in honor of the 250th Birthday of the USA into a unique and clever story of heroes, celebrities, immigrants, indigenous peoples, injustices and progress.

Sultana is the duo of musicians Jon and Li Waterman, who perform together to create the most unique and interesting presentations around. LI is a classically trained guitarist and singer who played in the band Allen Tesh. Jon’s song “Sultana” tells the story of the Civil Warm steamboat disaster. They’ve appeared all around the country – we’re in for a delightful evening.
