Join us at the beautiful Alna Meeting House for an evening with the Outhouse Association — Ian Ludders on banjo and guitar and Tony Scott on guitar and mandolin. The two will display their signature wild-island sound as they share songs and stories of the working people of the sixteen counties of the Great State of Maine, from the herring weirs of Penobscot Bay to the potato fields and icy log-truck roads of Aroostook. Between songs they’ll talk about folklore, islands, outhouses, and Ian’s recent book, The Log of the Herring-Pumper BERYL.
