The Blue Hill Public Library will present a talk on cacao with local Healing Arts Therapist and Cacao Ceremonialist, Christina Montano, on Thursday, July 2 at 7:00 p.m. Join Christina for an engaging introduction to cacao as a medicinal plant. In this talk, Christina will share the origins of cacao, how it differs from everyday chocolate, why it has been used for centuries in Central and South American traditions, and explore how cacao “supports the nervous system, opens the heart, and invites a deeper connection to oneself.” Christina Montano is a Healing Arts Therapist and Cacao Ceremonialist who is “passionate about the power of plant medicine to support healing, connection, and personal transformation.” This program is free and open to all.
