Founded in 2018 by Fiona Robins, Claire Donnelly, and Courtney Naliboff, BAIT BAG was featured on KEXP’s Sound and Vision podcast and has shared the stage with punk and indie legends Deerhoof, Screaming Females, Laura Jane Grace, and Weakened Friends, and made friends and fans from New York to Machias. Their music is a blend of post-riot grrrl anthems, jagged dance breaks, and tight harmonies.

The seven songs on BAIT BAG’s latest EP, Cut Fruit, delve into the urgency of being seen, feeling wanted, and expressing desires, presented from the unique perspective of women in and approaching middle age. CUT FRUIT proposes that visibility and the honest expression of yearning are radical acts.
