With the ocean as inspiration, create a mini tapestry with a variety of yarns, cloth, and fibers. For adults and youth 13 years and older. This workshop is led by local artist and PMM Education Assistant, Veronica Maresh Mead. Registration required.
Get inspired to create shell art by the Victorians’ love of decorating with items from nature. Choose to make a wreath, picture frame, sailors’ valentine, or a rectangular piece with shells, sand, seeds, and beads. A visit to the museum’s shell art pieces on display will provide added inspiration. For adults and youth 13 years...
Meet up with BHHT and be artistically inspired by the scenery. “Scenic Vista” on the Peter Clapp Accessible Trail at Caterpillar Hill (in Sedgwick) - Wednesday, August 12th 4-6pm (Meeting at the parking area and walking up the trail.) Art supplies will be provided or bring your own.
